It was really challenging and opened my eyes how to see color (when i didn't get too frustrated) and how to lit up a picture with complementary color and shadow. Painting with colors is confusing and hard for me so I also simplified it by coloring one of my sketches to get the basic understanding.
In my final project I did a little red riding hood. It didn't turn that great both for color and composition but it gave me some insight in my strengths and weaknesses.
